Be Not Deceived
One day, some day, I know I will make an impact
To be wanted on some delicate issues, for a fact
Now, I'm worth nothing to the common mind
But with determination I pray steady, never to wind
Some day, I will stand where once stood the frimaire
Marking the root of another poetic premiere
Many minds may not know as yet but who cares
Starting from the grassroot, I'd be the only one who dares
I know am your comic stalk for now
But give me some time and you'd have no idea how
Standing at the edge of the world, I'd stand tall
With poetry I'd stretch my wings across the sky
And whosoever doubts my essence shall fall
And like Festuca pratensis I feed my kind so I ear none cry
Some day I'd rise above all heights, with the sky my foot hold
Until then I'd know almost everything, as the pages unfold
High above the skies, I'd have my foot in the door
And the world my hay rake, I'd gather the needy and the poor
Grooming the force of attraction, I'd be chief of a godelureau
At the prime to all homage, all would graze at my meadow
I'd bond all men to the anger and grief of the feisty sun
To restore peace among all but not with no son of a gun
And with time all haters shall live long by my breathe of fire
For they shall live to see how I’d glow someday, a sapphire
'Cause one day, hear me, some day, only the meek'd walk the earth
To be wanted on some delicate issues, for a fact
Now, I'm worth nothing to the common mind
But with determination I pray steady, never to wind
Some day, I will stand where once stood the frimaire
Marking the root of another poetic premiere
