I'M NOT HURT

Be Not Deceived

Gutter Religious Productions

I'm not hurt, though love has waned,
From bright beginnings to shadows stained.
When I spoke of love, it was real and true,
A bond shared by just me and you.

I offered my all, heart, body, soul,
In hopes that together we'd be whole.
Two hearts, two lives, intertwined as one,
A journey of joy, side by side we'd run.

You took my heart, that much is clear,
Now it's shattered, a presence I no longer hear.
We drifted apart, as if drawn by a tide,
From love's embrace to a love denied.

Yet, I'm not hurt, though tears may fall,
The past we shared, I'll cherish it all.
Though words have lost their enchanting tone,
In my heart, your memory is still home.

Our souls once entwined, now separate ways,
I look back on those soulful days.
Despite the pain, I won't despair,
For in this lesson, I find strength to bear.

I'm supposed to be in pain, they say,
But I'll find sunshine after this gray.
Memories play like an endless refrain,
Driving me close to the edge of my sane.

Yet, I won't let it drive me to despair,
I'll rise above, find strength to repair.
Love that once bloomed, then faded like a flower,
I'll stand tall, empowered by this hour.

Love may have faltered, but it remains,
Not as a burden, but as lessons gained.
I won't be mad, nor hold a grudge,
For life's tapestry is not always judge.

I'll keep loving you from afar,
Sending my wishes like a distant star.
Though we're apart, I'll always pray,
That you find happiness, come what may.

My heart was given freely, without demand,
In your care, it found its own brand.
You see, I'm not hurt, not broken, not blue,
Because love's journey was worth it with you.

To Be

Be Not Deceived

Gutter Religious Productions
To be,
Wherever I am
Whether sitting or I stand
I almost always feel I was gonna fall
But when I finally over-stand
That, it is the continual feeling of being small
I took a firm stand, as and when I stand

And I am not going to step on anyone
To become tall
Because when that person no longer exists
I could really fall
And for me, that will be all
The scope, I'd work with, is,
That everybody wants to be somebody
All role models chosen
I can not, and never be
Just anybody
So I chose nobody.
I'm talking about, being my own personal person
These secrets are, before your very eyes, hidden

This was how I became
Who I am
To be:
I said poetry
I need you to be,
The girl I marry;

The happiest man I can ever be
Is who you'd make me;
So the world can see
How sickening, with the words, I can be.

One Last Word.

Be Not Deceived

It is hyper-exciting, the feeling of finally wishing away this 2017 year of many failed choices and bad decisions. With hopes,  we look forward to a year of positive change, things working out good for us the way we expect and would love, come 2018.

All these energy of starting everything right on a good note in the new year, give most of us, more than enough pressure to stick to an absolute self-attainable goals, and so we look to having things working out for our good, through other shortcut sort of ways.

A wonderful granny I used to know once said there is nothing like shortcuts to life, except you do not want to live to see your own tomorrow, where younger ones from the neighborhood would come to you for pieces of advice on how you were able to live your life in so much peace that has obviously eluded them today.

There are a handful of younger ones out there who are in denial of some sort of attention they crave from other people on whom they have excessively relied for happiness. The outcomes of such expectation have broken many of these individuals that they tend to lose confidence in themselves and tend to doubt the capabilities of their own abilities.

One thing I know never to give up on is the trust in oneself. The reason for this may differ from one person to the other as we all possess different aura around our spirit-form, something naturally alternating with a measure of the degree to which one trusts him or herself.

The level of confidence one has in him or herself determines the strength of the aura built just about your spirit; and the stronger the aura the mightier the aura to ward off all spirit-forms of negativity. I could be speaking of something new, even to myself, but I am trying to bring us all down to a level where we make a choice to start depending on and trusting in ourselves again.

I often feel like all my children will be girls because I have this crazy passion of always giving a piece of advice to at least one girl, lady or woman out there who suffers some sort of disappointment after investing all her time, energy, focus and confidence in some other people for her own happiness. That is nothing but a gamble with less than a likely probability of ever getting an outcome that will not be negative...if ever there is something like that in the arithmetic world.

I never had the opportunity to study the subject myself, as I was jumped to the other class just when it was time for our class to be taught basic calculations. The reason was never explained to me until after I managed to finish basic school, only to find out that the teacher who jumped me got herself transferred to another town. Silly, huh? Anyways.

The moral of the story is never to put your money on other people, no matter who you think they are to you in this existence we call life, because those who get to win in such games of trusting others are the ones focused on getting through to therapy sessions, with a commitment to never skip an appointment; a way for rebuilding all that they helped ruined with their own hands. I am sure no single individual of us wants to drag ourselves to that edge only to wish that we had taken serious point from what this blog post is trying to put across.

I am no expert or professional, I never read psychology to know what the average human behavior entails but one thing I am certain of is that the only person who can do things the right type of way for you is you. Even when you get to lose or fail at first try, you learn to do better by first re-strategising and placing your priorities carefully then next time you try. You only get to win if, and when, you built on the trust between you and your capabilities, strengthening yourself to reach higher heights and do better than yourself.

I read somewhere a young girl was saying that all she expects in the new year is to have her next (boyfriend) to give her all the attention she deserves and be able to put up with her attitude because she knows she has an attitude problem, which she is working hard on overcoming. It was very sincere of her to put that out on social media but obviously she got that out due to what she must have suffered in her past relationships and commitments, whichever one it must have been. This is what I had to tell her:
One question tho: How much attention do you give yourself on any given day? If you can't answer that, then I'm afraid there is no use getting yourself deceived by the hopes of having someone give you the attention you are not capable of giving yourself by yourself. Just my opinion tho. Bless.
It could sound mean, direct and personal but at times you have to deliver the truth the way it is without adding anything fairy swirly, especially if you intend to heal the person mind, spirit, body and soul. Ask any medical practitioner how injections are done and if any of it has ever been sweet.

The reason is that for it to actually work, you gotta feel the pain. It is about time our girls out there, vulnerable and confused, mostly, received timely intervention from those who have gone through the system of making such mistakes, thereby bringing them home to a conscious mind of their own and facing life for what it actually is, without the fear of hurting their feelings.

It would be better we hurt their feelings now, so they learn to have a life they can enjoy much later in life than making them laugh now and have to spend rest of their lives in misery of regret, for wrong choices made. The problem we face as a thriving nation of human problems is our willingness and ability to tell people the truth.

Most people, 99.99% percent of us, would tell you outright that they want nothing but the truth, but have never actually prepared their minds and their conscience of living up to the truth and realities of life. Everybody wants to live good, have a nice care-free life without any troubles that, anything that seems to threaten any of such expectations, gets to break them and you become their enemies for life.

I will say just do it and one day they will look for you to say thank you for being so bold to tell me exactly what I NEEDED to hear and not what people I call family and trusted friends always WANTED me to hear. The moment someone approaches you this way, know that already they are aware that you have already forgiven them and that you expect nothing else from them than their own acceptance of what lies ahead of them. That is what life should be all about, and which should be simple with no further explanations.

Before we pull down the curtains on this year, (which has already been in a rush to GTFOH anyways), I want to wish you all the best of everything good that you wish for yourselves in the NEW YEAR. May you possess double portion of all goals you set for yourselves and may we all stay healthy and happy when we wake up on the other side of 2018.

Have a PROSPEROUS FRUITFUL NEW YEAR AND BEYOND.

BLESS.

Dress Properly To Showcase Your Beauty, Not Your Nudity.

Be Not Deceived

Hello ladies, let's get talking. I am not a relationship expert but I believe a word or two will set the records straight, and you won't even have to pay any professional to hear it.
Your pastors may not have the courage to tell you because they needs the numbers for the church to boost the collections.
A woman's magic is her beauty, which attracts thieves sooner than gold (according to Shakespeare's 'As You Like It'), and an outward attraction is formed by the way you dress. These are the basics to what attracts a man and, not wearing anything at all, makes things way easier because it tells men who you actually are, whether or not they are right about you, because no man is willing to go in for a woman whose pride is out there for public viewing. AND any man going in for such a woman is only looking for some quickie. You may not even get to see where he lives.
The recent style of fashion in vogue which I want to talk about is the plastic braziers majority of ladies are using to heap or pump their goods up and out. It's all nice and attractive and makes you look gorgeous when you step out but here is the downside to it all.
A man, when attracted to you, always looks to see that one thing that got him attracted to you, and he is not coming for that one thing alone but with hopes of unraveling more of the things morals and virtues did not permit you to publicly display. The least you can do is try to keep the first charm that got him entrapped with you in the first place and repackage it to be able to keep your man, if he is worth keeping.
I don't want to lose sight of my take on the pumping up of breasts style of fashion with tinier braziers, being the new girl on the block. When a man is after you, for instance, after seeing how nicely you pumped your milk factories, which is by itself a deception, and he is ready and willing to spend his all to keep you and the factory, who do you think has everything to lose when, after the braziers are gone, and the once gyrated pointed-looking firm "buttons" on your twins, now display an overly low self-esteem saggy melons?
You would expect him to accept you the way you are and love you for the person you are, but you have not displayed who you are and the things you are made of in the first place, so it is hard for someone else to accept you for who you were not confident enough to display to the world.
A lot of ladies are sprawling in this ignorance of using body lotions which bleach their skins, hoping and thinking they will be conspicuous among their peers, and so the men would come after them more. Most of them do not even take the time to check the long time effects of that habit, how some old ladies now wear their burnt complexion beneath long 'jallabias' to cover up their entire body and those who were not so fortunate and got their faces burnt, go about town staring at everyone's faces looking for public sympathy.
Life, without a doubt, is about making choices and all these choices come with consequence. The moral is that we must all be ready to live with the consequences of the choices we make in life, before we make the decisions we have to make.
Therefore, what you decide on now, will not just roll away like that, no matter how long it takes. Most times, you would even forget that you made such a choice, which is why the churches have become our last resort, where we rush into seeking unnatural supernatural miracles that the Bible spends eternity to find a verse for, and these confident tricksters calling themselves all sorts of names lately, use the opportunity and take advantage of most of y'all, just because you are now desperate and have no other choice left to make, forgetting that even deciding to give in to the demands of these pastors is also a choice by itself, for which you must pay the consequences as and when they come knocking on your doors.
Before I hang this long speech loose here, my advice to you, the younger generation of girls, is that be confident in who you are and dress properly to reflect your true beauty. I often say that there is beauty in every girl, lady or woman whatever your class. You just have to find it yourself and make someone else see and appreciate you. Never make another person be the reason for your happiness, else you will be relinquishing your power to that person to define you by a snap of their fingers, and you may never get to enjoy happiness in this life.
Just be yourself and pay no minds to whatsoever anybody thinks or has to say. Learn to offer yourself that unconditional love and you will feel what it means to be loved by someone else, because if you practiced and master love on yourself, anybody approaching you with a fake love, you will be able to identify and decline before they come any steps closer to you with their drama and deceit. In the end, whoever you end up finding love with will make you fall in love with yourself every single day, with the love on every other day growing stronger than the days past.

Stay beautiful as blessed.

Be Not Deceived

Defining "ME"
(Mr One ZED)

Episode 1.

God and I.

People often ask me very intimate questions, the chief of which is my position with God.
I sometimes do not know how to answer it directly, without people feeling offended, by my sense of humor and principles of life.

I say principles, without any interjections, because already someone would wonder why and how anybody would be offended by something as mere as principles.

I still would stand by my stance though, simply because what is principle to me may sound rubbish, to whoever is ready and willing to learn.

That is how come anybody standing in such a ‘position of inquiry’, would feel disrespected when I decide to unveil my side of God's position in my life.

I am an old soul, brought up by a very humble woman, God rest her gentle soul.
I grew up to know what I know now, following some of the principal teachings of this humble woman, without knowing any other thing as churches, sects or religions of today. She taught me a principle which helped me live a life of calling a spade what it actually is, without any shades of grey.
I was raised to say what is right by an entire community of personalities, most of humble beginnings, without fear or favor. These principles I held on to, till date.

After her passing, over 20 long years or more, I realised there will be no responsible, rational, thoughtful, considerable or a cultured me, if I had dropped any of these principles, to follow what the world of today believes to be the culture of the day.

The culture of how things that used to be abominable practices, have become the accepted norms of the day. Where young men and their counterparts behave, act and talk like they gave birth to the 'elderlies' in society; that things, which were not at first meant for children, are now what they toy with even as toddlers.

I am scared to my marrow, every time thoughts of "what if I never had principles" hit my mind. I could never imagine how my life would have been even right this minute as I write down this piece.
I could never see myself dropping these principles of the life I was blessed with, for anything of this so-called modern, civilized advanced world of astronomically inclined information technology, where the present generation rarely ever cultivate
the habit of reading to inform, educate and transform their own thought-forms, about life in general. I just simply could never let myself to be one of such a clueless generation.

These are the principles a mortal being, even a virtuous woman, groomed me with, and that even after she's passed on, I could never let her down by dropping even the most intricate of which would make me feel and look like a villager to admit and obey, in front of an ocean of eyes, to the hearing of countless heads with ears. I always would respect those principles no matter what come may.

Now, back to the question asked about God's position in my life... If a mortal being could groom me to this point of being eternally loyal to her teachings and principles, where do you think I would place God, the autonomous supremacy over all things seen and unseen, mortal and immortal, in my life?
The answer to that is left onto you, the reader, whoever you are and where you come from. This is one of the ways this journal would start off "Defining Me".
